In fact, the RGB function worked well with just that single cable, controlled directly by the board since it supports RGB internally. You need to install just two of the three cables. One connects to the CPU fan, and the other is either 12V RGB or 5V ARGB. You can choose either one and the CPU fan cable.
This picture you shared doesn't match the Wraith Prism specifications. It appears to include additional components like a 4-Pin RGB, 9-Pin USB, and a PWM fan, which aren't part of the standard design.
I've never encountered a 3-pin RGB header before; most boards use the standard 4-pin configuration.
