The blank section named PUMP_FAN1 works too. It doesn't depend on the exact connection point as long as power reaches it.

This 4-pin fan header works with a 3-pin fan header. Position the plastic tab into the groove on your connector, and you're ready to use it. The single unconnected pin is reserved for PWM control.
