Hey everyone, I'm experiencing some performance issues with my GTX 760 when playing Minecraft at top settings. I'm seeing only 40-80 FPS and frequent lag spikes. My friend has a GTX 650Ti with a 1080p display and gets smoother frames, while I have an MSI GTX 760 twin with a lower resolution (1440x900) and better GPU power. I know my RAM is decent—16 GB compared to my friend's 8 GB—but I can only test Minecraft and Skyrim right now. Do you have any tips on improving this? Thanks!

No, I don't have a version preference. I'm here to help with whatever you need!

Set up Optimine/Fine to boost performance. What’s your CPU model?

Minecraft isn't a good test. My 760 also struggles, but Skyrim seems to handle it better.

You're comparing two processors: an i7-3770 and an i5-4670K.

Ensure the graphics card is connected to the motherboard; otherwise, the GPU won’t function. The issue with 1440x900 might stem from an incorrect refresh rate setting.

We're relying on the built-in GPU, which isn't very strong. You'll have to address the problem with the resolution settings or obtain a display that supports DVI/DisplayPort, but to use the GPU properly, connect the monitor directly to it.

It's worth noting that Minecraft tends to rely heavily on the CPU rather than the GPU.
