I just found an old laptop that was about to be discarded from work. I’m considering keeping it in the landrover to connect with GPS for navigation, downloading maps, and checking airmaps. It’s similar to what a friend does with memorymap. Are there any Linux GPS tools you recommend? I haven’t tried them yet, and I’m not sure if they can handle the old laptop’s specs, especially since it doesn’t meet the memory-map requirements. Any advice would be appreciated.

Do you want a large laptop that fits entirely inside your vehicle?
