Find connectors on a vintage OEM motherboard
I considered purchasing a new power supply because the existing one isn’t sufficient for the GTX 960. I decided to check the available options and found some images of the motherboard. The power connections appear to be standard, except for one labeled COMB—its purpose is unclear. I came here to seek advice. Here’s the link: https://www.hardware-corner.net/desktop-...icrotower/ It’s an HP Prodesk 400 G2 office PC with an i5 4430 processor.
Hmm, do you think the COMB header is connected directly from the power supply in your PC? From the video you mentioned, it looks like a typical 24-pin and 4-pin power connector is present on the motherboard, but there’s nothing plugged into it.
I thought it too. Probably the developer didn't check the motherboard headers first.
I haven’t purchased the system yet, just wanted to confirm buying it smoothly without issues.
