I checked the Local Group Policy Editor and discovered a fix. Navigate to Local Computer Policy, then Computer Configuration, Administrative Templates, Control Panel, Personalization, and set the lock screen display option to disabled. It seems this adjustment might have been overlooked before, but now it’s available for others.
