Looking for a few multiplayer FPS games priced around $5-7 on CDN? Something to swap in for Insurgency.

Consider playing Quake 4 or opt for a bit more spending in CSGO.

There are several FPT titles, but each has its issues. Argo is an FTP but it's quite challenging for newcomers. Heros and Generals have too many hackers or lack of skill, and the view distance is limited. Payday 2 is a bit over budget on Kinguin (13.88 for the cheapest option, but it's popular), though it's entertaining and cheaters are caught, though auto settings can remove them quickly. Warframe is also FTP and decent, while War of Thunder and World of Tanks have their own flaws. Paladins feels like a simplified version of OW. Personally, I've tried these games and shared my experiences.

The game is decent and no cost, but the characters can become quite aggressive at times...

Absolutely, we can disregard f2p since you've already encountered 99 percent of them.

Arma 3 military simulation released around 2013/2014. Inspired by the intense Black Mesa remake from 2024, featuring CPU-heavy gameplay reminiscent of 1998's Half Life. FPS science fiction puzzle title praised for its mechanics. Day of Defeat offers a WW2-style multiplayer experience with custom servers. Grand Theft Auto V delivers a third-person FPS sandbox with an engaging story. Most enjoyment comes from shooting enemies and pursuing police. Graphic narrative receives critical acclaim. Killing Floor presents a wave zombie survival scenario centered on shooting, with a unique British flair and classes like "Zeds." Limited waves available—no endless play. From my collection, I suggest Day of Defeat as the top pick. Source maintains active player communities.
