It’s not straightforward to activate the laptop-specific power icon via regedit or gpedit. The reason often lies in system settings or user preferences, so you may need to adjust those manually. If you’re curious about the white tray icons, you might explore them separately. (Reference: https://i.imgur.com/7JzxC6G.png)

Connect your computer to a UPS unit. It will believe the system is powered by battery, showing the corresponding icon. Using a UPS provides peace of mind and reliability.

A UPS stands for Uninterruptible Power Supply. It’s a device that provides backup power during outages. You can configure similar protection in your operating system through settings or power management tools, though a dedicated UPS offers more reliability.

It refers to an Uninterruptible Power Supply. https://www.amazon.com/CyberPower-CP1350...B000OFXKFI This device functions as a large battery that powers devices during outages, giving you time to save your work and shut down safely. This protects your hardware from damage. I’ve used it several times—it saved my system during a thunderstorm when power went out. It’s not very costly and definitely worth purchasing. From what I understand, you can’t get this without your computer being connected to battery power.
