I'm searching for information about a new zombie game for PC this year that captures the vibe of Wildlands or Days Gone but features Co-op play. I noticed State of Decay 2 is in development, though its visuals are still somewhat limited.

If you're speaking in terms of visuals, Arma 3 DayZ would likely be the top choice available. The market was saturated so much that most people grew weary of new releases. I wouldn't create another game like that anytime soon. Another point to consider is infestation survivor stories. The graphics are decent based on what I recall. It's free on Steam (formerly WarZ). (Previously the Nether was another title with solid visuals. Not exactly zombies, more like demons.)

Dead Rising 2 is off the record. It's the best in the series, honestly. A lot of carefree entertainment.
