Create a PC tailored for VR streaming. You're just starting with building one and want guidance on selecting both a CPU and GPU. A 3060 is a solid choice, but consider whether a newer GPU would offer better performance. Make sure the components work well together for smooth VR experiences.

It doesn't seem worthwhile to spend that much; opt for the 3070 once they return to regular pricing.

The 3060 doesn't justify the cost; opt for the 3070 instead.

The 3070 offers nearly double the capabilities compared to the 3060 while only slightly increasing the cost.

It looks like you're asking about the Intel I5-10600K processor. Could you clarify what you'd like to know? For example, performance, price, reviews, or comparisons?

Avoid this option; consider the Ryzen 5 3600X with an X570 board instead

Streaming tends to demand significant processing power. Streamers often run one PC for gaming and another for streaming, which helps allocate resources better for high-performance games. Suggested processors include an I7 or Ryzen 7 from the latest generation, or an Intel 11th generation or AMD 5000 series chipset.

Avoid that completely. A 5600x on a B500 offers similar value and superior performance but would be more cost-effective for streaming. Even on NVENC, a 5800x provides better efficiency with only two cores. The 3070 costs about $170 more than a 3060 for roughly half the performance gain—not a full doubling of speed.

I also have a second machine that’s mostly used for streaming, but I’m looking for a stronger one to support my VR setup. I could use some guidance on putting everything together in PCPARTPICKER.
