I participated in the closed and open beta for FFXIV ARR, and it looks quite appealing. It performs reasonably well as well. However, it remains just another Tab Target MMO. If you're familiar with Action Combat MMOs—like Tera—you probably won't enjoy this one. Switching back to a Tab Target MMO after playing an Action Combat game is likely to be disappointing. Plus, FFXIV requires a subscription, which makes it less appealing. Still, if you prefer Tab Target or haven't played Action Combat before and don't mind the cost, it's a better option than World of Warcraft.
Can we participate in the giveaway for our friends if we win? It could be a nice gift. The game is really enjoyable. I understand the sub might trick some players, but if you can afford it, you won’t be let down—especially if you’re a FF fan and enjoyed XI.
I enjoy this game and have a character at level 42 that's aiming for the next update. Since I haven't purchased the expansion yet, it would be great if it arrived soon. Appreciate your effort! Edit: Just noticed my first message got processed correctly.
The game is super enjoyable, but I quit because there wasn’t much to do at that moment—I was just playing a day 1 version of FFXIV 2.0.
I believe I should hand it over to AbleCab's sins. He played it, but there’s no expansion available. I remember I posted it first, but I’d rather give it to someone who has actually played it and wants to play it again. Hope you all understand. Also trying to avoid wasting keys... and he’s listed as a US Navy veteran in his profile.
The game is actually disappointing. They made a cool idea but turned it into something similar to other World of Warcraft titles most times over the past ten years. Not great at all.
