Final build update not possible for version 10
Final build update not possible for version 10
Hey everyone, I've been away for a month now. When I got back, I wanted to upgrade Windows to the latest version. I noticed the "reserve w10" icon isn't showing on my taskbar. I tried the Windows Update and rolled back to an earlier build, but nothing worked. Any suggestions? Thanks, Henk B.
They halted updates for insiders around a week before the official release. If you didn’t catch the three-day window for the RTM, it’s tough to catch. I’m not sure if this is the company’s official position, but I saw this with a few machines in preview. My daily rig that stayed current was working perfectly and up to date.
Windows 10 Insiders lacks the "Get Windows 10" icons. You already possess them. Launch Notepad, tap the menu bar: Help > About Notepad, which will reveal your Windows 10 version. If you're on build 10240, that's the latest release. To exit the insider program, first check if you upgraded Windows 7 or 8.1 to Windows 10 Insider Preview earlier. Then choose to leave. Alternatively, if you installed Windows 10 Insider Preview directly instead of upgrading your older OS, proceeding through the steps will deactivate the preview. You must reinstall your previous Windows fully, then restart and verify the "Get Windows 10" icon. Click it to confirm readiness. If the system isn't ready, a prompt will appear warning you to upgrade immediately; if it says your setup isn't complete, wait as Microsoft is working on a fix.
Het is niet duidelijk wat je vraagt over de "final build". Kunt je meer context geven?
