I noticed one day on my Steam that none of my games were installed except Apex, which I play every day. I didn’t give it much thought until I logged out and back in, thinking something had changed. That morning, I saw one of my 1TB drives was only half full—just the drive I use for games. I figured maybe it was just empty, so I opened Steam and tried to access it. But then I ran into a problem: Cyberpunk was there because I just installed it on that drive, yet it couldn’t see anything. When I checked File Explorer, it wasn’t listed at all. The drive looked blank, but Windows said it was half full. After booting up WinDirStat, I saw a folder called “messy bits” inside my organization—something completely gone. It hadn’t been deleted, and no one else could access the computer. I don’t usually install unusual software, and this folder wasn’t hidden either. What happened? The drive is less than a year old.

The folder opens and displays its contents, showing the size of each file and directory in the MessyBits structure.

Try to focus, but the issue remains unclear. I can point it out if you want.

You have two Steam folders on that storage location and must include both in Steam...
