Previously I secured and encrypted personal documents like tax files with my computer. After a Windows corruption, it required a reset, but now the files remain locked despite having no access rights. I possess an old backup, yet it’s protected by a password in an encrypted zip file—without the original password I can’t open it. Could there be another way to retrieve it, or is this truly unsolvable? Thanks ahead. Operating system: Windows 10 Pro

It will be quite challenging to access the information if it remains encrypted without the key.
