Generally yes, though my tests show it can occur even with a wired link to the modem when files exceed 100MB.

Because it works on various operating systems and devices, the issue might be with the router, the switch, or your internet service provider. You’ve likely restarted the router already? Have you reached out to your ISP? It’s possible there was an error on their end due to overbooking on your line. I experienced bandwidth drops at certain times because my ISP line was full.
