I considered the situation, checked my PC, and noticed the slot is near the GPU. Not sure if the GPU will provide enough airflow for cooling. It’s possible, but using an M.2 drive without NVMe might affect performance. I also wondered about placing the boot drive in the second slot—probably yes, but there could be some limitations or compatibility issues.

The primary SSD is a SATA M.2 device, which should function properly.
