The apartment claims to offer the fastest fiber internet in the area. Yet, when I’m alone with my PC connected directly to the router, download speeds hover near 89 Mbps and upload around 91 Mbps. Speeds also dip between 12 and 1 pm. Since I’m not familiar with Wi-Fi settings, I’m curious if there’s a way to boost performance or if this will be the case for the coming months. Also, could you provide more details about the Linksys Arena 6 router?

It seems there might be an issue with the Ethernet cable connecting your fiber modem and router.

Imagine the cable connecting the router to the wall.

The speeds you're seeing appear to be around 100mbps rather than higher. If it hits a wall plate, the punchdown might be ending improperly as well.

I just changed to the extra Ethernet cable I had, and it instantly improved it to around 300-400. This issue is now resolved.
