Has anyone else encountered significant stuttering in FIFA 19 when playing on a laptop equipped with a GTX 1050 graphics card? My laptop is a fully configured Dell XPS 9560 15” and includes:

- i7-7700hq processor
- 32GB of RAM
- A 512GB SSD
- GTX 1050 with 4GB of VRAM

I’ve also tested GTA V and CS: GO, which run without problems. In FIFA, I've experimented extensively with different settings – medium, low, MSAA enabled/disabled, fixed frame rates of 30/60/unlimited, and both DirectX 11 and 12. I’ve adjusted Nvidia options like vsync (on/off) and FXAA (on/off), but nothing has resolved the issue. Despite consistently maintaining an FPS between 60-90 during gameplay and approximately 30 in cutscenes, I still experience considerable stuttering and visual ghosting with player movement.

I have the newest drivers installed along with GeForce Experience software. Do you have any recommendations for optimizing game performance? It seems to me that the problem isn't related to my hardware or drivers, but rather a flaw within the FIFA 19 game itself.

Is your gameplay happening live, or are you using a secondary display alongside it? Such as viewing Netflix on a separate screen while simultaneously playing FIFA?

Have you experimented with running the game in windowed versus full-screen modes...?

Currently, there are no running processes in the background; I’m simply gaming on my computer display. However, I observed a more problematic scenario when using an HDMI connection to my television, although I initially believed this was due to either the cable or the device.

Regarding the adjustments you described in your initial message, did you test the game using those specific configurations, followed by exiting and reverting to the original settings? I’ve experienced something similar.

Probably not. However, I’ll verify it afterward and make sure. Thank you.
