Hey everyone, I was wondering if FIFA 15 would work smoothly on Windows 8.1. I recently got FIFA 14 installed on my PC but it didn’t run at all, so I ended up using Windows 7 instead.

EA sports isn't compatible with PC, I wouldn't expect it to work.

Looking into FIFA 14 searches reveals possible solutions to run Windows 8 smoothly. If Windows 8 isn’t compatible with FIFA 15, you might discover methods to adapt it yourself.

Did you really install a new OS for a game? There's a way to run older games without doing that, you right click the .exe file, select properties, go to the compability tab and select "run this program as compability mode for Windows 7". If you did try this then I'm sorry, I don't mean to be condesending

It looks like the update should function properly since this is the first time the new Ignite engine is being used on PC for FIFA 15.

I didn't do that. I created a different partition using W7, and your answer didn't help. Did you attempt it yourself?

It seems to function on Windows 8 but not on 8.1. I’m hoping that’s the case, and if not, I’ll consider downgrading to Windows 7.

I meant it in a friendly way, though I learned more recently, so it was worth trying.

I’m hoping I won’t face the same issues with FIFA 15 on PC, fingers are crossed!

It functions on Windows 8.1! Last time I checked, the right fix is finally here (sorry for the all caps).
