I'm handling an all-AMD development build, version 1700, paired with a Fury Nitro system. The game typically crashes during combat or save operations, precisely when the "Saving" dialog appears in the top-left corner. All Nvidia-related components are disabled, yet RAM and GPU utilization remain around half capacity. GPU memory usage sits between 2.4/4GB while RAM stays roughly between 5–8GB of a 16GB total. I've reinstalled the game twice and updated drivers multiple times. Every driver version is current, and the pagefile size is set to 32GB. Crash logs show:
Version=1 EventType=APPCRASH EventTime=131670826968240528 ReportType=2 Consent=1 UploadTime=131670826984724542 ReportStatus=268435456 ReportIdentifier=37f5ac0b-8115-41fa-be90-72ebac759693
IntegratorReportIdentifier=fe38c750-7779-4b7c-ba2c-a7501dafe5c4
Game Name: ffxv_s.exe, Version: 1.0.0.0, Crash at: 5aaa9713
Memory Usage: GPU 2.4/4GB, RAM 5–8GB, RAM usage ~50%
I've checked online repeatedly for solutions and closed the program. Please verify your system and try restarting.

Using older drivers can sometimes resolve problems, but Windows updates are essential for full functionality. Reinstalling the software is often the fastest way to fix issues.

Check if the processor is boosted. The memory type you're employing might affect performance. Instability might arise from these factors.

Rolled back drivers and preemptively updated my ATI drivers. I've tested numerous drivers in search of a stable solution. Current driver version is 18.3.4, but crashes persist. Power supply appears intact; it's a Corsair RMx 650 and no other game issues have arisen with titles like Assassin's Creed Origins, World of Warcraft, or GTA V. I might rearrange cables and check my voltmeter if needed. A fresh Windows install could be an option, though I did that soon after switching to the new SSD as my main drive. Latest crash details: Spoiler Faulting app name: RadeonSettings.exe, version 10.1.2.1703, timestamp 0x5aa17009. Faulting module atidxx64.dll, version 23.20.15027.2002, time 0x5aa167f2. Exception code 0xc0000005, fault offset 0x000000000075b3df, process ID 0x1f8c, start time 0x01d3ca07a235a3d0, path C:\Program Files\AMD\CNext\... Faulting package ID 90f49cbd-b383-4308-8cd2-fd50cc7fb87c. Report shows no available files at the listed locations.
