I have mixed thoughts about the game. I’m thinking about getting it soon and am unsure whether to pick up Eve or FF14:ARR. I can restart playing Eve and then farm ISK again to cover the subscription costs, but I feel more excited about the experience and fun of FF14:ARR. If I get the expansion, I’ll receive a free two-month subscription.

I disliked it at first due to the Fate mechanics. However, I realized how straightforward it was to progress alongside the Fates, only for them to remove it and I to give up. I did hear they reinstated it some time ago, but I haven’t really explored it again.

I believe FF:ARR is an excellent title, making it a smart investment.

I had a good time with it, though I'm struggling to see the value in a monthly subscription anymore.

Played it since Beta 4 – really enjoyable game. It’s great for those who like more than just combat, like crafting and other activities. The fighting elements are solid too, not just the battles or raids. I especially like PVP like Seal Rock Seize. One of the best communities I’ve been part of. Had only a few breaks because of RP content, but I’m planning to return soon. I don’t mind the subscription since they release many updates regularly – big ones every three months. It’s generally called FFXIV Online, and ARR refers to the version or story at that time. Now it’s known as FFXIV: Heavensward. If you have more questions, just message me.
