That depends on preference. I think for testing the cooler situation, run till temps level out. For testing stability, well that's up to you how long you want to beat on the cpu. Yes its a stress test. So thats way more load than average use. No need to go crazy 8 hours unless you need to prove yourself to someone or perhaps bragging rights. I check about 2 hours typically with LinPack so the memory takes a good load as well. Then just use it. Folding at home and gaming is good testing. Its real world and stressful enough in my opinion. Ill get you some definitions to the voltages later. At the Vet with Shadow and still need to eat supper yet too. 55c now? Still lowering that v-core and testing I suppose. Results are looking nice so far.
Unable to achieve a reliable overclock. Results remain inconsistent even under different conditions. Last day's performance was 4.5Ghz with thermal compliance, but stability failed. Restarted today with high LLC settings—still at 4.6Ghz on default voltages. Using OCCT didn't help. Yesterday I struggled for 4.5Ghz on stock voltages, now it's possible to reach 4.6? Continuously adjusting CPUV without success. Need assistance.
In this situation, it's best to reset the CMOS and begin the overclock from the beginning.
It's alright if things become a bit shaky. You've been reducing the v-core so it stabilizes back to what works. Keep that in mind. --- Wrapping up. Your setup is showing 4.5Ghz around 1.5V, temps near 77°C without throttling. Right now you're at about 55°C under full load after 90 minutes and it's holding steady (4.5/4.6Ghz). If you go to a higher clock speed (4.6/4.7Ghz), you can gradually raise the v-core until you hit the right balance. (from 1.4125v) I believe you could even try half the multiplier if that's correct.
