Hi, today I just upgraded from Ryzen 5700G to a brand new 5800X3D. I'm running Rog Strix B550 F gaming with Wi-Fi II, paired with an Radeon 6800 and a 750W Coolermaster PSU. My RAM is Corsair 2x8GB and I have an NZXT Z73 cooler. I've been using Windows 11 since the CPU change, but the PC just stays on black with orange RAM light and red CPU light. When I switch back to the 5700G, it boots into Windows quickly and functions properly. I've tried various RAM positions, updated the BIOS to version 2803, reset the BIOS via CMOS battery, used a different PSU, and tested other fixes I found online, but nothing worked. It's worth noting that the 3D pins are straight and look good under the microscope. Please help me out!

The information likely needs an updated biography.

I've completed it. I'm currently on version 2803. I also tested earlier version 2604, which should handle 5800x3d. Still no success.

Are there any bent pins? It seems the 5700g still functions well, which suggests the 5800x3D might need to be returned or replaced.

I've tested it on an X570 ASRock board and it functions properly. It seems the issue might be with my motherboard or CPU. The chipset appears to support it.

Just install your old CPU onto the board, open the BIOS, verify the version it’s running, and see if it matches the supported list. The issue might be that the BIOS update isn’t properly applying to the board.
