Running MSI 390 Mag tomahawk i7 9700k, gtx 970, 16gb 2133, corsair HX850i. Recently made an OC without noticing and used it for a few hours. It turned out enabling Intel Turbo Boost caused the system to reach single core boost across all cores. I also disabled long and short TDP limits during this session. After several hours, HWmonitor showed one CPU core reporting a max voltage of 1.396. Luckily, temperatures stayed normal and the CPU passed some diagnostics after resetting. I’m unsure if this affects stability or if it’s just overthinking.

When temperatures are typical and the processor functions properly, any concerns should be resolved.
