The one you found valuable was likely *Half-Life 2*. It offered a rich, immersive experience that many players considered well worth their investment.

Dying Light stands alone without any doubt. Far Cry 4 feels like just Far Cry 3. The only title that comes to mind for open-world first-person parkour is Mirrors Edge and Brink. Dying Light delivers a distinct and original gameplay feel.

Both titles have been played for more than five hours each, but I'm not a big gamer or fan of either. I don’t really identify as a zombie enthusiast, so I lean toward FC4—it offers some really cool experiences in both games. You might want to check out the YouTube searches for "Dying Light Fun" and "Farcry 4 Fun" to see which one appeals more to you. It could make a difference, though it might not. And honestly, if you're into classic 80s action films, BloodDragon might be your thing!

Take both options if possible. Avoid being selective.

Dying light side quests were significantly more fun than Far Cry 4. I really liked the dying light experience and finished more. In Far Cry 4, you just reach a point where you think, "fine, I’ll just finish the campaign."

Both games have their own strengths. Want to cause chaos with close combat and panic at sunset? Try Play Dying Light. Need excitement from riding an elephant with a grenade launcher? Go for Far Cry. It all comes down to whether you prefer horror or action vibes.
