You're facing some performance hiccups with So Far Cry 4. Despite having updated drivers and a solid setup, the game still freezes unexpectedly during intense moments. After checking online solutions, switching to borderless mode helped temporarily but didn't solve everything. It seems the issue might be related to older DirectX versions or high CPU usage, especially when paired with your GTX 670. Updating Windows could also help clear any lingering bugs.

It runs around 95-100% due to bottlenecks. It’s not just about a single high-core processor like an i7-8core; the real issue is multiple components working under pressure—network chip, CPU, audio chip, and a demanding game. Lower the settings to ease the load.
