Recently, my game shows 150-1000 ping despite having a fast internet connection. I can stream Netflix and use multiple tabs on Google, but my gaming performance drops sharply whenever I play. I’ve restarted my computer and router several times, disabled the firewall, and contacted my ISP who reported no issues.

Speedtest usually checks connections from you to the ISP's servers, but that doesn't guarantee your ISP provides reliable stability or sufficient bandwidth for your game server.
Ensure your server is set to your region in game settings. I don’t use default settings since I often switch to servers with better latency.
It might not be connected through the provider's network. Not all ISPs link directly to every site or service. Eventually they join a backbone provider, and your data exits their network. Problems on that backbone aren't your ISP's issue since they completed their role. The peering connection between your ISP and other networks could also be busy. It really needs attention. Given the current global situation, many of these systems are overwhelmed with more traffic than ever before.
