You just played Far Cry 4 and had a great time. If you're new to the game, here are some tips for that tower-opening moment: start in a simple area where you can see your path clearly. Focus on navigating through the fog to spot opportunities. Since it's early, don't worry about covering much ground—just move cautiously and take your time. For controls, you can try keyboard/mouse or a controller; the controller feels more natural for this kind of action. Just enjoy the experience and keep practicing!

It's clearly a FPS title, so rely on keyboard and mouse controls. Keep aiming hard—use the loot wisely for crafting. The northern towers remain off-limits for now.

Use a keyboard and mouse unless your driving is safe if you can switch to a controller fast.

It varies by game. Certain titles such as Rocket League and RE7 favor KB/M, while others like GTAV and Nier suit a controller.

I mean it applies to everyone or just those new to it? Also, how do I disable mouse acceleration? I was thinking maybe in about ten seconds, but I’ll test it with the keyboard tomorrow. Yeah, honestly I’m confused—GTav works great with controllers.

In the Far Cry series I really enjoy discovering outposts and towers whenever possible, even if it means skipping the main story. I also put a lot of effort into customizing my gear upgrades to improve my load capacity. Oddly enough, I find this crafting process more satisfying than following the narrative. For controller/KB+M settings, just pick what feels comfortable for you—it’s not a high-speed competitive FPS or PvP setting, so it doesn’t matter who wins. Some titles I must play with KB+M, while others like FC and GTA work great with the classic 360 controller.

You won’t easily reach the north until you progress further. I also chose Far Cry 4 with a controller since it feels more similar to GTA V, offering plenty of vehicle combat.

Continue through the main narrative until you reach an outpost equipped with the mini copter. It’s still early in the game. Obtain and upgrade the one-handed grenade launcher. Pairing them gives you map control. Reduce outposts from above, then move in and clear the area. I used KB & M for Farcry 4, but for titles like GTA/Watchdogs 2 I rely on keyboard, mouse, and controller for driving. Just keep the controller beside the keyboard until you need to drive; swapping is fine.

Launch the game again, remain and savor the crab dish. Expect the antagonist to reappear in roughly ten minutes—game over.

It's accurate, taking 15 minutes at Pagan Min's table often yields a game ending.
