Fans increase their activity in small, rapid intervals.
Hi, customer built PC, less than 9 months old, system was fine, until randomly during a gaming session on Ark Ascended, my partner noticed the fans on the PC going into overdrive in short bursts, on then on, it sounded liked a jet engine.
The temps all seemed to be ok, for both GPU and CPU. I believe the noise was the CPU? only possible clue was when we checked the processor speed on CTRL+Shift+Escape, it showed the CPU speed at half its normal amount, around 2 GHZ instead of the 4+ it normall gets. It now shows 4 GHZ as it should, but the issue no occurs whenever any game is loaded up, not just the above.
I'm some what new to this and trying to seek help if anyone is able or willing it would be super appreciated! is this a build issue do you think?
