Hello
I'm searching for a laptop suitable for the entire family.
I'm a bit confused since I enjoy gaming, so my needs vary. I'm hoping for some guidance on a device that can handle everything well.

Main tasks:
* Browsing the web
* Joining Zoom meetings
* Creating and presenting slides
* Watching TV shows
* Also supporting platforms like Roll20 (virtual tabletop) and tabletop simulators
I’d appreciate something with a touch screen.

I like the brand Leno, but I don’t want to be completely tied to it.
I’m looking for something really robust and long-lasting.
I currently own a Lenovo Y580, which has been reliable for over ten years, and I’m hoping it can keep up with these requirements for at least five more years.
Thank you for your advice.

GTX 660m can be easily swapped out. I've been interested in different Lenovo LOQ models featuring Ryzen 7840hs or 7940hs APUs and RTX4050. I don't think they're touch screens either (my old Y410p with GT740m is something I'm considering). How much are you planning to invest?

This good quality touch screen laptop features a separate graphics card, even from Lenovo.

I believe the amount could be around £1000, but I might go higher if it's essential to fulfill the needs.

Unfortunately, that model isn't available for sale anymore. It took a while to locate one as well.
However, there are many good 13th generation and Ryzen 7000 series laptops in the $1000 price range, though they usually lack touch screens. Brands like Lenovo, HP, MSI, etc., tend to offer only reversible or higher-end machines without a dedicated GPU, with the exception of a Dell option priced at $800 plus a $1200 base for a touch screen.
Here is a non-touch version with an RTX4060.

These items seem questionable and may exceed the budget.
