Fallout 76 fails to launch...

I recently purchased Fallout 76 on Steam and encountered a problem when trying to launch it. The game would display a black screen as if launching was imminent, then return to my desktop instead. I also tried launching it via the desktop shortcut, from Steam, and from Radeon Software, but all attempts failed. Anyone have experienced this issue?

You're on the Bethesda launcher and not facing issues. Try checking your Steam files, reinstalling, or launching as an administrator.

Some folks have just canceled their Steam subscriptions and moved to Bethesda... maybe I should try that too.

When it functions eventually, I’ll let you know. It doesn’t work with the Bethesda launcher either.

Yes, everything is functioning correctly. I understand your issue and have the same problem with an RX580.
