Fallout 4 Troubleshooting Center Issues & Bugs Compilation
I realize that with the current problems in Fallout 4, it’s better to discuss them together rather than complaining on every forum. This can help everyone understand if an issue is widespread or hardware-related. So here’s my take: besides the hand disappearance problem, I noticed trouble when I turned around in a building and the game froze at around 15 frames per second, even though my GPU usage stayed below 60%. That stuttering made me feel dizzy, and I’m not sure it’s due to my GTX 970 or 4790k. I decided to stop playing and resolve the issue.
It's not a glitch at all—I'm really struggling to connect with Curie. Her French accent is charming, but she doesn't seem to have a clear goal or place for me to interact with.
I haven't encountered this personally, though I've noticed others getting stuck while working with terminals. Edit: I recall someone named Slick experiencing an unusual crash when navigating tabs in the game.
I encountered some issues early on... - CTDs appeared multiple times, but none triggered any warnings. - The Gun vanished from the first-person perspective. Pip-boy also disappeared. You can still heal, fire, and so on, but you can't scroll through the Pip-Boy. Reloading resolved the problem—enemies were stuck in the wall a few times, though I could still take them down.
The terminal beside the initial fusion coil causes my character to freeze consistently.
I was playing at 60fps without any issues at full settings. Entered Lexington and my frame rate dropped into the high 20s to low 30s, plus noticeable input lag and shuttering. A lot of enemies appeared and the performance was so poor I couldn't aim properly. When my action points ran out, I was completely defeated. Attempted to swap in a second GPU to boost memory and PCI lanes, but it didn’t help. Feeling pretty disappointed after getting the 390.
