I’ve been through all the classic Fallout titles and completed the usual setup steps: installed the Unofficial Patch Set for Windows XP SP3, set up G4WL disabled, but it still crashes on "New Game" and "Yes." I’ve checked numerous forums, but nothing matches my situation. My system specs are a GTX 1070 i5-4690K with 16 GB RAM on an SSD, plus Hybrid Mass Storage.

Consider downloading from the provided link and saving it to your Fallout folder. Let me know if that resolves your issue.

Alright, it functioned perfectly! Now my GTX 1070 is being identified as a GeForce 7900 S.

Im glad! and um I'm not sure what to do about that. Is it being recognized as something else causing any issues?

It identifies my GTX960M as a specific model. It seems it struggles with newer graphics cards.
