No one has shared their experience with running Fallout 3 on Windows 10 yet. The game warns about compatibility issues with this version and sometimes closes unexpectedly. It might be related to Windows Live games, but I'm not sure. Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks.

To make it function properly on Windows 7, you'll need to adjust the game a bit. It tends to resist changes.

I completed the run at 8.1 without any issues and also got an extra boost to work with.

It functions well on my system. I heavily customized it using several unofficial patches, which could explain the issue. Uncertain if that's the cause.

I'll look at those pages tomorrow morning. It worked well on Windows 7 0.0 for me.

Windows displayed a popup when I attempted to run the game as described, directing me to a download link for GFWL. Clicking it led to signing in, which then resolved the issue. Honestly, it’s quite frustrating, but I’m relieved I was able to remove it after playing Fallout 3.
