My computer crashes unexpectedly after adding two extra 64GB sticks. I've checked both sets in 2 and 4 slots, but not in 1 or 3. The BIOS shows all drives, and XMP is enabled. Random restarts happen only during gameplay—three tests. I updated the BIOS and ran a memory check, but it's still unstable. Sometimes I can play for hours, other times it crashes instantly. My system has an i7 13700K with 4x16GB DDR5 RAM, RTX 3080, and a 6000MHz 16GB SSD. The Wi-Fi is Corsair 850W. I disabled XMP temporarily and it worked for two weeks before the issues returned.

Check if the sticks match in brand and specs. Have you attempted to run Memtest86?

I haven't used memtest86 yet. I could try it, though all the drives look the same and perform identically.

I made a bios update, but I'll look to confirm if another is available.

is your processor being pushed to its limits? excessive strain from many components at peak speeds might lead to issues. consider resetting the overclock or reducing RAM speed to test for improvements.

Some motherboard makers have altered Intel CPU defaults for the 12th Gen and newer K models. Ensure you have version 7D91vHC1 or higher installed, with "Intel Default Settings" enabled. This should configure your amp/power limits to 307A / 253W, aligning with the CPU specifications.
