Failed to reach the BIOS settings despite using Windows Advanced Startup.
The issue seems to involve a problem with accessing system information. It could be due to corrupted files, conflicting software, or hardware issues. Try restarting your PC and checking for updates. If the problem persists, consider running a system file checker or consulting a technician.
I couldn't explain the reason, but you can take out your boot drive to access the BIOS. If it's an NVMe, you'll need to fully remove it; for SATA SSDs or hard drives, simply disconnect the data or power cable from one end and you're done reaching the BIOS.
I'm facing the same problem with my system. It's an MSI B550 A-Pro R7 5800X and GTX 1080, equipped with 32 gigabytes of 3200 MHz RAM. I can't access the BIOS no matter what I try. Every method I use results in a completely black screen with the GPU debug light occasionally flashing. I've updated the BIOS via the flash button on the motherboard, which seems to have resolved the issue—fans are faster and the software now shows the updated version. Still, I can't change anything because the computer won't display UEFI. I've also removed the CMOS battery, but the debug LEDs still only show a missing boot drive and a pitch black monitor.
I resolved the problem by connecting my monitor via HDMI rather than DisplayPort. It's odd that DisplayPort stopped showing UEFI after a year without issues, but it seems to be working now. Give it a try—switching to HDMI, DisplayPort, or another monitor might help if you're having trouble.
