I've just completed assembling my new PC and am facing some issues with managing the ARGB settings through software. While I can switch between effects by pressing the reset button on the case, I also want the ability to adjust them via programs. My build includes a Montech King 95 PRO case with a fan and ARGB controller (10 slots), a case led strip, two 140mm fans, four 120mm fans, and an ARGB AIO with three 120mm fans plus LED strips over the motherboard and GPU power cables. I initially thought connecting all ARGB devices to the included controller would sync everything properly. However, when I tried using various software—like SignalRGB or OpenRGB—to control the effects, only the RAM sticks responded, not the fans or strips. After a restart, the components remained out of sync, except for the RAM. My question is: why are the rest of the ARGB devices unresponsive? I suspect it might be because I have too many LED headers connected to the controller, possibly overwhelming it with signals. Looking into those programs, they rely on zones to map LED numbers, so maybe I’m getting too many connections or a mismatch in settings.

I connected the controller's fan wire to a SYS_FAN header and the ARGB cable to an ARGB header inside the MoBo. Asus TUF GAMING B850-PLUS WIFI ATX AM5 motherboard.

Open RGB displays the header you connected it to. The controller is attached to the case via a switch that can override signals from the motherboard. Remove it from the case and it should function properly.

I was hesitant to download it, but I went ahead and the same outcome occurred as before. The settings I chose affected just the RAM modules.

Consider these options:
1. Connect devices straight to the motherboard
2. Update the BIOS
3. Use SignalRGB
4. Choose a hub with USB2 connectivity
