Factory reconditioned UPS units?
Factory reconditioned UPS units?
I'm considering purchasing a Cyberpower CP1500PFCLCD for my gaming PC. Woot is offering it for $180, which is factory reconditioned with fresh batteries and a one-year warranty, whereas the new version costs $240 with a three-year warranty. I'm wondering if the reconditioned option provides good value compared to buying new.
Uncertain if factory reconditioned is worth the savings...
Splitting that $240 investment over three years offers a stronger return with a brand new UPS that lasts three years, unlike one that might need repair after the first year. I’d go with the new UPS.
If you’re able to fix the UPS yourself, the cheaper choice makes sense.

Thank you for the response. For the gaming PC, I was referring to a more general setup. I currently have a 6700XT with a 34" LCD, and possibly another one, along with accessories like a headphone amp and router.
Value is something just you can decide.
I recommend you try some shopping.
