Experiencing difficulties with the newly built computer setup. The issue appears in a video not listed on my YouTube channel (starting at 0:07). After a fresh installation, it doesn’t work, yet I can’t pinpoint when it happens. My system has minimal software installed, but here’s a rundown of what I have:

- Windows 10 Pro with auto-detected drivers, including AMD GPU drivers
- Windows 10 updates via WinRAR and Private Internet Access (VPN)
- Gigabyte drivers – only Realtek Audio and LAN
- Gigabyte Services – includes APP Center, EasyTune, V-Tuner, System Info Viewer, ON-OFF Charge
- Malware Bytes 3: 32-bit Java app
- Microsoft Expression Encoder 4 (for video recording)
- Various trial installations and updates

Things I’ve tried:
- Reinstalled Windows following the same application path; issue still occurs intermittently
- Task Scheduler cleared any activity during that window
- Autoruns showed only minor entries under drivers, WinMad, WinVerbs, and a publisher’s Mellanox entry with timestamps ending at the 46th minute of the hour. This seems coincidental given the outdated date format
- Windows Defender (Microsoft Security Essentials) full scan – no threats detected
- Malware Bytes 3 threat and memory scan – no findings

Help is greatly appreciated, as this recurring popup disrupts my workflow and forces me back to the desktop in full screen. Edited May 28, 2017 by DaRiPo

Find a problem in the newest Office version. Check Task Scheduler > Microsoft > Office and see the services listed. You can click right-click and choose Disable for both OfficeBackgroundTaskHandlerLogon and OfficeBackgroundTaskHandlerRegistration. Office still works after disabling them, which suggests it might not be affecting anything important. I haven’t tested all features to confirm the issue. Let me know if this helps!
