I've been trying the new DOOM lately. Progress was slow, and the loading times were annoying. I removed it and attempted to install it on my SSD, thinking maybe I should have used Steam's Cloud Save. But it seems that doesn't work with DOOM. I also ran out of space and reinstalled it to my hard drive. When I tried to open the game, it displayed my save file, even though I had stopped playing there. However, when I opened it again, it reported that the save was corrupted. Is there a way to fix this issue?

Steam cloud sync functions well in Doom. Corrupted saves are a different issue altogether.
