Hello everyone, today I encountered an issue with Facebook Messenger. When I open the Chrome browser as usual, I log in and try to send a message to someone I haven't spoken to or written to recently. It displays "End-to-end encrypted" and says the messages and calls are secured. I can't write anything to that person, though I confirm I didn't block anyone and wasn't blocked myself. I discovered a workaround: on my phone, I open the Messenger app and send messages normally. If I type even one letter to that person, the message disappears before it reaches the browser. I'm unsure what to do next—what if I lose my phone or need to send an urgent message? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

It seems the problems are probably best handled by Facebook.

Please look at the ratings and reviews.
If someone doesn’t want to use messenger or receive messages, we can’t bypass that according to forum guidelines.
We can’t determine the complete truth from here.

Upgrade your Messenger app to the newest release.
Link to a stable Wi-Fi connection.
Verify your device has sufficient space.
Shut down the Messenger app and power off your device.
