Hey everyone. I’m checking if the F4-4000C15D-16GVK kit (G.skill Ripjaws 2x8GB, 4000MHz CL15) fits my Z370 A PRiME. It’s priced at $175. I’m curious about compatibility since it isn’t listed in the QVL and my CPU is an Intel 8700K.

It's rarely perfect even when listed on QVL. High-speed RAM can sometimes cause issues. I've used Kingston 4000C18 with 8086k before, but results depend on the specific RAM, motherboard, and CPU. In some cases you might notice a slight performance drop. I personally found my own model performs better at 3600 MHz than 4000 MHz.
