When setting up my PC before powering it on, I attempted to use the ez tuning wizard RAID feature to switch my HDDs to RAID, but now my system won't detect any drives and won't boot. This raises the question—does this indicate a complete failure of the setup? (At first, I assumed one drive was faulty, so I replaced it, but the new one also remains unrecognized.)

The system is now indicating that Windows needs repairing. It seems like the boot sector might have been erased, though the data could still be there. Try it again. The worst outcome would be failure.

It seems you damaged your installation. You inserted your HD into an array, but the OS must handle it as a single unit, not multiple HDs.

Before taking any major steps, check your BIOS settings and revert storage configuration to AHCI. If that doesn't work, it likely erased the drive's boot sector and placed it in a RAID array.

It also mentions that transitioning to raid could result in "system boot failure due to changing Sata mode, and the system becomes non-recoverable."

DOM_PARKER2 :
How do I do that? I'm on the Asus bios by the way.
Hard to say since Asus, or any motherboard manufacturer for that matter, changes the layout of their BIOS frequently. Perhaps under a heading called "Storage Configuration" maybe? If you know the model of your motherboard you can always go to the Asus website on another device and look for the manual. Then just do a "Find..." inside the PDF and look for "AHCI" to see if you can find it quicker.

As per the instructions in the Asus Z170 motherboard manual, specifically section 2.6.5, it is detailed under the Advanced PCH Storage Configuration.
