Hey there, I'm having a tough time with this setup. After a quick restart, I still can't get the signal to my monitors. The CPU is AMD 5600X, GPU is MSI 3060 TI Trio, PSU is Corsair rm750x, and I'm using an MSI x570 motherboard with gaming plus RAM. My storage includes 1 TB NVMe and 2 TB HDD.
To start, everything worked perfectly during the initial setup—booted from USB with Windows 10, installed drivers, updated everything, and even synced iTunes and mouse settings. PC restarted multiple times to finish all updates. I moved on to less critical backups, synced music libraries, adjusted desktop settings, and transferred game configurations from my old machine.
Then came the issue: when I went into BIOS, I tried to verify the RAM speed—expected 3200Hz but got around 2100 or something factory-set. I restarted from the start menu and was ready for a reset (del/F11). But no signal reached the monitors. The VGA light stayed on after startup checks, and GPU lights still strobed. My mouse and keyboard lit up, but nothing appeared on screen.
I consulted someone more experienced, and we tried all the usual fixes—removing peripherals, testing different ports, swapping RAM sticks, even resetting the motherboard. I changed the CMOS, removed the battery, used the reset button, and even tried the power cables differently. Still no luck.
I'm really confused because everything else was fine before, and now I'm stuck on this part. I don’t want to risk my GPU warranty, so I’m at a loss. Any tips or ideas would be super helpful!
Same problem occurred here before, no problems with my PC until I powered it down yesterday. After that, the EZ debug line remains stuck on VGA and the speaker makes three beeps. Tested memory sticks from other systems in my computer—same issue, stuck on VGA. Tried my sticks on those two as well, but nothing changed. Tested two different graphics cards (RX570 and 2070) and the same problem persisted. Also tried my 3080 in other systems, no issues there. I’m not sure what’s causing it. It might be related to the power supply unit, so I switched the cables from my 3080 but didn’t resolve it. Could be a problem with the MB memory slots?
You're facing a recurring problem with your new setup. The EZ Debug LED stays stuck on 'VGA' when using a 4K monitor, forcing you to disconnect and restart repeatedly before it works.
