Some time ago, games performed flawlessly. Warzone consistently hit high scores above 95. Now it barely manages 55 in low settings. It doesn’t matter if I enable DXR with maximum settings; the frame rate stays around 55. I reduced the resolution without affecting performance. There’s no limit to the FPS I can set.

In BF1, my machine runs smoothly at over 120 FPS in ultra. My own PC struggles to keep a steady 65. After buying it, BF1 ran well above 100 FPS. CSGO used to average 250+ FPS, now it’s around 90.

I’m using a Triton 500, RTX 2060, 8750h, dual-channel 16GB 2666 RAM, BIOS v1.12.

Here’s what I’ve attempted:
- Limited FPS
- Reinstalled Warzone
- Uninstalled and reinstalled GeForce Experience, NVIDIA Control Panel, Windows, and files
- Performed a full Windows reinstall while keeping files
- Applied all performance upgrade updates from the Acer site
- Adjusted settings in NVIDIA Control Panel (prioritizing performance)
- Disabled game bar features
- Undervolting the CPU
- Tuned paged memory
- Tried Turbo Mode
- Swapped thermal paste, which improved cooling but didn’t affect gaming
- Cleaned fans
- Maintained temperatures: GPU around 86°C, CPU around 90°C, undervolt temps between 80-85°C

Please let me know if any of these steps helped. I’ve tried everything mentioned in another thread except downgrading the BIOS to 1.02—unclear how to do that. I’m unsure it will make a difference, but if anyone knows a reliable method, share it. This laptop now feels like a significant loss of value. It once handled most tasks effortlessly, but now it’s barely functional.
