Extremely slow frame rates after adding waterblock to Zotac 3070
My setup includes an Arous B450 pro with WiFi, Ryzen 7 5800X-cooled and a freezmod waterblock. It also has a Zotac 3070-cooled unit with an alphacool block and a Corsair 2x16G Vengeance 3200MHZ PSU. Both the CPU and GPU run independently with their own radiators. I’m struggling to understand why performance drops to 6-12 FPS after installing the waterblock, but jumps back to normal when the air cooler is back on. The CPU temps stay around 50°C during tests, while the GPU stays cool at 39-43°C on the waterblock. It works fine with the air cooler, but I’m not sure what’s causing the issue. I’ve checked the instructions multiple times and still can’t figure it out. Can you help?
Are you sure this item matches the card you requested? I’d think you might be missing the connection, causing it to slow down severely.
