I was conducting a light stress test to evaluate the performance of the CPU cooler I recently installed, which I hadn't used for three weeks. The CPU is operating at 65°C under full load, which seems quite normal. However, the hardware monitor displays a higher temperature reading. https://gyazo.com/b6051961f2ab187ec9cbf8c81125edc5 This discrepancy is puzzling. Could it be related to insufficient thermal paste during installation?

If the chip truly hit those temperatures, it would be liquid now. Or at least the substrate would. It seems to be a glitch in that particular software reading the readings. That’s why you should always verify with more than one source when temperatures look unusual.

Did it shut down? Likely it misinterpreted the sensors. I've also noticed unusual readings after sleep.
