The board is perfect for a 7700k. Learn why you chose the H110 together. What other options are you considering?

Oh no, things are looking shaky. You might want to upgrade your mobile soon since Intel just dropped a new generation announcement.

The setup is not compatible due to power delivery issues. The H110 board lacks sufficient power for the I7-7700K, risking instability or failure.

The exact reasons I outlined. The VRMs are weaksauce so power delivery is awful. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Gigabyte-Mother...p;LH_BIN=1 How about this bad boy?

You should start with the RAM first since it’s essential for performance. It’ll boost your system more than the motherboard upgrade.

I start with the motherboard. If possible, getting a higher CPU speed would make a big difference, though RAM will still limit your performance so don’t expect much improvement from upgrading just one component. I’m hoping the board I mentioned or something similar will give you a real boost.

H110s were designed for budget, low-power components like old Pentiums and basic i3s. The VRMs handle power supply to the CPU. Poor ones can't provide enough or cause overheating, resulting in reduced performance and instability. In extreme situations, the whole board might fail.

It seems you're planning to upgrade your system before getting RAM.
