Extreme voltage spikes affecting the latest CPU unit
I believe I just need a completely new motherboard because I might have damaged some components due to lack of anti-static gear or not grounding myself properly. I was using magnetic screwdrivers, which could be relevant. The CPU, PSU, and RAM aren’t the issue—only the motherboard seems to be the problem. I’m considering the Gigabyte GA-A320M-H since I really think I broke something.
I switched to another power supply, but it turned out the voltage regulators were faulty. I think getting a new motherboard would be the simplest solution.
I noticed another person on YouTube facing the same problem, and they were using a heat gun to reattach the voltage regulator, which resolved the issue for them.
