Hey everyone, I’m still trying to figure out what’s causing these weird FPS swings and drops across all my games. It happens randomly, no matter how I adjust the graphics settings. Usually I can play BF1 smoothly, but in Fortnite it starts dropping even when I switch to low settings.

I’ve talked to someone else and tried a few fixes, but nothing seems to help. I installed a driver from March before the issue began (still using it), set my clocks to normal speed, and enabled/disabled XMP without success.

I ran stress tests on my GPU and CPU, and there’s no stuttering. Here are some test results:
- CPU-Z Benchmark: [link](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=elMpIHhgDTg)
- FPS improvement stats: [link](https://valid.x86.fr/0y794j)
- GPU power draw during games: [link](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EsRYFJZOtok)

Also, my GPU’s power consumption drops to about 50-80W during these games, which is way below the expected 120-150W. They said it’s not the PSU since it handled stress tests fine, so it must be a local issue.

Latencymon data from a game with severe stuttering:
- In-game: [link](https://prnt.sc/13d74x2)
- Outside game: [link](https://prnt.sc/13d773b)

My specs are listed here:
- Monitor: AOC 144Hz 24" display
- I’m really stuck and need advice.

I just copied and pasted the title.
Anyway, the issue was resolved.
Someone suggested disabling the AMD SATA Controller via Device Manager, which helped.
Life is good.

Probable memory problem. Run a test with Memtest86.

This Seasonic G Series model offers impressive performance with a 550W output. It supports ATX12V and EPS12V standards, making it versatile for various setups. The semi-modular design allows for flexibility in configuration, and it's ready for cross-fire applications. With a temperature rating of 105°C, it can handle demanding workloads. I’m planning to remove the AMD SATA when I get home. I’ve experienced performance issues for months without knowing the cause, even with an RX 580 and a 9600k processor. I know it’s not related to the CPU. Yet I still watch flawless gameplay videos and don’t understand why my game stutters. If this works, I’ll come back and thank you personally.
